Bjarte Usken, bachelor student in the Petroleum Geoscience program at UiS, has joined the JuLoCrA project. He won the best student paper prize at the 80th EAGE Conference & Exhibition 2018 - Student Program.

140 samples of Jurassic (92 Hekkingen and 48 Fuglen) and 17 samples of LCR have been sent to US for maceral, bitumen and mineral counting analysis. Additional samples for rock eval and TOC analysis have been sent to APT in Oslo.

Tonje Iren Braut, master student in the Petroleum Geoscience program at UiS, has joined the JuLoCrA project. In her thesis project, she is making a late Jurassic characterization of the Hammerfest Basin.

Maayke Koevoets successfully defended her PhD thesis 5th January 2018.

Lene Liebe Delsett will provide more information about the Jurassic sea in her PhD project.

Dora Marin has joined JuLoCrA project as a postdoctoral researcher.  

The JuLoCrA project has started with five sponsoring companies.
